Scary isn't it. It's been extremely hard for his family
(my auntie and uncle) as it doesn't seem to give them a closure for
not having a body to have a funeral.
Apparently, after he went missing, someone was using his card to
drain his bank account. They didn't do it in one hit but
only withdrawing the max amount allowed every day until the account
balance was zero.
I was told it was rather common in Shenzhen when they kidnapped
someone to get their bank details but they usually released the
person after they drained the account. Not for my cousin
unfortunately.....
it's sad..
but the criminals there would most probably murder the foreigner
and the body disappears.. no witnesses, no one to tie them to
anything, the criminals get away scot-free..
